SUBMISSION OF FINAL MANUSCRIPTS FOR WAFR 2002

The proceedings of WAFR 2002 will be published as a hardback book by Springer Verlag as a part of their Advanced Robotics Series. Each paper accepted to WAFR will be included as a chapter in the book.

Springer has requested that we provide them a camera-ready version of the book as a pdf file. To facilitate this, authors must provide their final manuscripts as pdf files, prepared according to the Springer format guidlines.

Springer's web site has information for preparing your chapter using plain TeX, LaTeX2e, LaTeX 2.09 and Microsoft Word. You can find these instructions at the following sites:

Of the three tex-based options, LaTex2e seems to be by far the easiest option.

Here you can see a very short example chapter in postscript format.

Please note that your chapter must be no longer than 17 pages in the Springer format. This is necessary in order to satisfy the page limitations imposed by Springer for the final manuscript.

Since this is our first time to publish with Springer, it is likely that there will be unforeseen problems. As these are discovered, we will update this web page with additional information.

How to FTP your files
